Dubliners Shinjuku

Dubliners Shinjuku is what I call a warm up venue. It starts early in the evening and closes early right after the last train. It has a cozy atmosphere and good variety of draft beers, cocktails and snacks.

This is our review of Dubliners Shinjuku,
  • Size: Medium
  • Type of music: Music volume is so low that you can't tell
  • Volume level: Extremely Low
  • Illumination: Bright
  • Price: 600-900yen
  • Hours: Opens everyday, weekdays 6-11pm and weekends 6-1am.
  • Busiest day: Friday
  • Sarging level: Approaching is fairly easy
  • Crowd: Late 20's even mixture of foreign and japanese
Dubliners has a good mixed crowd, people gather mainly to chat and have a beer, sets are pretty open and receptive for cold approaching.

Its good for warm up if you plan to hit other places later during the night in Shinjuku. Opened sets can be bounced to nearby clubs or karaoke.

hi there,
first of all, great blog!
Exactly what I was looking for...
Just one question though, which place would you recommend for a guy on his own to have a very high chance of getting a cute JF?
I've had some experience in this before and consider myself quite good but need the place to be quiet enough to talk but fun enough to have some distractions too.
Actually, I have a proposal for you - fancy being each other's wingman for the night next weekend?
you can contact me at osakaenglish@hotmail.com

cheers

The dregs of Gaijin Tokyo. To be avoided.
